My group of tagged atheists on X

Thu 12th March 2026.

Gr. Account @laurastrilyx suspended. I'm @tizzieJinx at the moment.
My main blog post is the one called Jesus Swept.

So I started a tagged group of fellow atheists around 6 months ago to fight the scourge of the poison that is religion.

The idea was that people would find the nastier of gods creatures to try and make them see sense and offer ways to help them remove the mental chains of indoctrination.

Having a tag team gets more impressions and gets us more traction.

And to this end, I thought that a few unwritten (though mentioned now and again) rules might keep us from rabbit hole diving:

    - Mute or block a christian after two days, as we are only wasting our time and intelligence on someone who can't listen, as they are too far indoctrinated with the mind virus and can't hear what we are trying to tell them.

    - Talk about other things such as comedy, music and science. We don't want to put people off by having them think that we are a one trick pony.

Of course, these are recommendations, and I never tell the group what to do, I merely suggest, as I feel somewhat obligated to suggest these things if it looks like they're getting too obsessed over these christians.

But problems do occur, such as if people don't agree with someone who was brought in by someone else, and then the person that brought them in says that someone has a closed mind because they don't agree with their friend, because you've done your research.

The person the friend invited in then says I have control issues, and I'm just after influencing people for impressions. I'm just interested in fighting religion. I haven't got a blue tick, and I don't make money off X.

Another problem can occur, for instance when people carry on for days and days repeating what they've already said to a christian that won't listen, and they say they're enjoying themselves trolling them, though they will accuse them of trolling as well.

So you block the christian but you can still see what some of the group are saying to them, and so you block them, then others in the group ask why you blocked them, then I explain it all, and how upsetting it is for me, and they suggest I unblock them again, and I say not after what they've been saying behind my back.

I'm then accused of controlling behaviour when I suggest that they start a different thread ur they want to carry on wasting their time, instead if flooding notifications with the same old drivel.

I'm told I didn't start the thread and I don't get to decide what people should do. I said I rebooted the thread on someone else's third by accident.

Then I see them talking behind my back including those that aren't blocked but they're nice to my face.

Then the next day one if the group says it's a bit strange the way I've rebooted the tag team without the blocked names in, and I tell them what's happened briefly and say I don't want to talk about it anymore.

Then they carry on, because they haven't got the facts, and I say to them thanks for respecting me, and to go and attack a christian instead. So I block them. And the beat goes on 🙄.

What's amusing is that these people would sooner spend the time having a pop at me, rather than reposting links to this blog, or discussing ideas for it, or making suggestions about what we could be talking about instead of just christianity.

Then someone I don't know comes out if the woodwork, accusing me if misogyny and trying to tell people what to do. I say I haven't been misogynistic as I've blocked males too.

I've told them they should look at my timeline to see if I'm misogynistic. People are of course free to check if I appear to be controlling. People should look at profiles and check previous posts, to see if people are being genuine, or have double standards.

And they're swearing at me as well, and using big ole capital letters. Slurs. Very adult.

They say I'm a hypocrite as I'm doing the same as them, but I'm not repeating the same thing over and over for three days to the same person, achieving nothing. These people haven't got a blog and they don't generate images to go with the theme of biblical nonsense.

So why have I typed this? Because I explained it at the time, but people don't refer back to that, and they expect me to repeat myself, like the christians do, which is why I started this blog in the first place.

So I'll just refer them here if it continues or happens again, because u haven't done anything wrong.

Oh and I also notice that when I correct some of the group with facts when they've not got something right, after I've researched it, they don't respond.
